Residents of the Winnetka Park District may book their tee times 14 days in advance, while tee times open to the public 10 days prior.

We accept cash and all major credit/debit cards including Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. We also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay, including at our driving range ball dispenser.
Personal checks are not accepted.
Winnetka Golf Club encourages comfortable, neat, and appropriate golf attire. Traditional golf clothing is recommended, but the dress code is designed to be welcoming to golfers of all experience levels.
Acceptable attire includes:
- Golf shirts with or without a collar
- Appropriate athletic or golf tops
- Tailored shorts, golf pants, athletic pants, skirts, or skorts
- Golf shoes, athletic shoes, or spikeless footwear
The following items are not permitted on the golf course or practice areas:
- Denim of any kind
- Cut-off shorts
- Tank tops or shirts with offensive language or graphics
- Swimwear or beachwear
Metal spikes are not permitted.
Rain checks are issued when play is suspended or the course is closed due to weather or unsafe conditions, as determined by Winnetka Golf Club management.
Rain check guidelines:
- Rain checks are based on the number of holes completed at the time play is suspended.
- <5 Holes Completed – Rain check for full amount paid
- 5-12 Hole Completed – Rain check for 50% of the amount paid
- >12 Holes Completed – No rain check issued.
- Rain checks are issued at the discretion of management and are non-refundable.
- Rain checks have no cash value and must be used toward a future round at Winnetka Golf Club.
Guests are encouraged to check with the Golf Shop for current weather conditions and rain check eligibility. All decisions regarding playability and rain checks are made with player safety and course conditions in mind..
Yes – we have a recently built extensive short game facility featuring a chipping green with two practice bunkers and up to 40-yards of fairway. In addition, we have two practice putting greens to hone your skills. All short game areas are open to the public at no cost.
We do! Our driving range is open from 30-minutes prior to the first tee time until sundown each day. See our driving range page for more details.

Outside food and beverages are prohibited. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited in accordance with stand and local liquor regulations.
Pets are not permitted on the golf courses while they are open for play. Once the courses are closed for the season, leashed pets are permitted. All guests are asked to remain off all greens and putting surfaces and to properly clean up after their pets.
The course is owned by the Winnetka Park District and managed by Kempersports.
